Wireless Electricity

Fast Company magazine has put together a good overview article on the status of several wireless electricity technologies. These technologies use inductive resonance and other techniques to transmit electrical power from a generation source to one or more targets without any physical connections (i.e. wires). Potential applications in thermal and fluid systems could include wireless pumps and sensors.
